Police Liaison Officer - Secondment

Location: Camden Town/Pimlico
SOCA Grade 4 (Det. Sgt.)
Salary: commencing at £31,447 + London Weighting (£3,100)

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre aims to protect children and young adults against exploitation, operating seamlessly between the online environment and the real world.

This secondment provides an exciting opportunity to work with both CEOP and the NSPCC Child Trafficking Advice and Information Line (CTAIL). CTAIL aims to provide a specialised service to professionals (social workers, teachers, police etc) and those working or volunteering with children to help identify and safeguard child victims.

As Police Liaison Officer you will facilitate partnership between CEOP, CTAIL and local police, helping to share information and providing support through your knowledge of operational police issues.

You must be a serving police officer with child protection training and experience of working with children.
An operational background of working with child abuse cases and specific skills in dealing with traumatised children are desirable.

Expected length of secondment: 2 years, reviewable after the first year.
