Foundation Course in Understanding Child Sex Offenders
Keynote Speaker - Joe Sullivan
A better understanding of the psychology of offending and how child sex offenders operate, can help us to recognise behaviour which indicates abuse is taking place, or is being planned.
By understanding the effects of your own behaviour and use of language, it is possible to engage with child sex offenders to obtain useful intelligence and evidence.
The Foundation Course in Understanding Child Sex Offenders has been specifically designed to develop these skills. It aims to provide a more in depth understanding of sex offenders who abuse children, focusing on the importance of intelligence to inform effective practices when dealing with them.
Superb and scary in equal measure. A bit overwhelming at times but totally justified training. I thought I’d seen most things after 15 years service. Obviously not.
